For us, quality begins long before a product reaches the shelf.

We believe the best way to understand a product is to remain close to where it is grown, processed and made. That is why Cavon & Co. focuses on sourcing directly from Ethiopia and working with experienced producers who understand their products from the ground up.

Our approach allows us to select products not simply for how they look, but for their origin, character, production method and quality.

From black seed oil to coffee, every product we introduce must earn its place in the Cavon & Co. collection.

Entoto Black Seed Oil

Our current flagship is Entoto Black Seed Oil, produced from Ethiopian Nigella sativa seeds and cold-pressed in Ethiopia.

The oil is left unfiltered and produced with minimal processing, preserving its distinctive colour, aroma and natural character.

From the selection of the seed through pressing and bottling, our focus is on keeping the product as close as possible to its Ethiopian origin.

Our Coffee Heritage

Coffee remains an important part of the Cavon story.

Ethiopia is widely recognised as the birthplace of Arabica coffee, and coffee continues to hold a unique place in the country’s culture, economy and everyday life.

Through Tarara Coffee and Adwa Coffee, we offer selected Ethiopian coffees produced by the Bagresh family, whose involvement in the coffee trade dates back to the 1940s.

Across four generations, the family has developed deep expertise in sourcing, processing, roasting and exporting Ethiopian coffee.

Their work has earned national recognition, including repeated awards from the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority for roasted-coffee export performance.

Our coffee selection will remain deliberately limited, allowing us to focus on quality rather than volume.

Keeping Value at Origin

At Cavon & Co., we believe more value should remain where exceptional products begin.

Our black seed oil is pressed and bottled in Ethiopia, while our coffee is roasted and packaged there before export.

Rather than exporting only raw materials and carrying out most of the transformation elsewhere, we support a model in which more of the processing, expertise and economic activity remains within the country of origin.

This approach helps preserve the authenticity of the product while contributing to local capability and value creation.

Cavon & Co. connects Ethiopia with customers beyond its borders.

With roots in Addis Ababa and a European presence through Cavon Trading SAS in France, we bring carefully selected Ethiopian products to customers in Europe and other international markets.

Our role is not simply to move products from one place to another.

It is to understand what makes them exceptional, preserve that character and present them in a way that reflects their true value.
